What is the difference between Drift School and Driftkhana - Drift Practice?

For our Drift School class we supply everything needed for the course (Drift car, instructors, fuel, tyres and general maintenance).

With Driftkhana Drift Practice, you will need to supply your own rwd vehicles, tyres, fuel and safety equipment.

What is the minimum age requirement?

12 years or older for Drift School classes

14 years of older for Driftkhana - Drift Practice

Any drivers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian.

Do I need a road license or learners permit for participate in Drift School or Drift Practice?

No road license is required. We supply a CAMS license which enables you to drive at motorsport events held at race tracks.

I want to change my drift class booking?

Rescheduling:

Should you request to reschedule thirty (30) days or more from the date of your drift class, one complimentary reschedule will be granted.

Any additional rescheduling requests within thirty (30) days of your experience will result in a $300 change fee.

No-shows:

A "no-show" will result in a full forfeiture of the cost of your drift class and cannot be retroactively refunded or rescheduled.

Will my driving experience be cancelled due to rain or bad weather?

We operate rain or shine, however if conditions are forecast to be unsafe, we will advise you by email or phone when possible.

What if I damage the vehicles or crash?

Normal wear and tear is expected, however if you intentionally disobey your instructor's guidance with reckless behaviour,

you will be liable for any/all damages to the property and vehicle.

Can I bring spectators?

Family and friends are welcome and free of charge.

Can I bring my own video camera?

Yes

Do I need to be able to drive manual?

Experience with driving manual transmission vehicles is recommended, but not necessity.

Please advice us if you are not confident with driving a manual transmission.

What should I wear?

Please dress comfortably for the weather. Short and T-shirts are fine if it is a warm day.

All drivers and passengers must wear enclosed footwear. Shoes with a flat sole is recommended.

Where are the drift school and drift practice held?

Our events at held at Winton Motor Raceway - 41 Fox Street, Winton VIc 3673

Is there food available?

We supply light refreshments. Food is available at Winton Motor Raceway Canteen.

Are animals allowed at the race track?

Winton Motor Raceway has a strict policy of no animals policy for safety and OH&S purposes.

Zero tolerance alcohol policy

Confederation of Australian Motorsport has a "zero tolerance” alcohol policy regarding drive experiences.

Any driver who consumes alcohol prior to their experience will not be allowed to drive.  No exceptions.
